Design and develop mechanical products and assemblies from concept through production. The engineer will translate product requirements into practical designs, coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams, and maintain complete engineering documentation. Responsibilities: - Create 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and bills of material. - Perform tolerance studies, design reviews, material selection, and basic engineering calculations. - Apply GD&T, DFM, DFA, and standardization principles to improve manufacturability. - Coordinate prototypes, testing, design changes, supplier inputs, and production release. - Maintain drawings, revision history, engineering change records, and technical documentation. Requirements: - BE, BTech, or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. - Hands-on experience with a mainstream 3D CAD platform and engineering drawings. - Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, fits, tolerances, and material properties. - Ability to communicate design decisions with production, quality, and supplier teams.
